LYNDOH is a small, independent handmade soap brand in India. We only collect what we need to get your order to you, and we don't sell your data. Here's the plain-English version.
What we collect
- Your order details — name, delivery address, pincode, phone number, and (if you give it) email.
- Your gift note, if you add one to a custom box.
- Payment reference — we see that a UPI payment was made against your order ID. We never see or store your card, bank login, or UPI PIN — that all stays inside your UPI app and our payment partner.
- Basic technical info your browser sends (like device type) when you load the site.
Why we collect it
- To process, pack, and ship your order.
- To contact you about your order (confirmation, dispatch, delivery, or a problem).
- To write your gift note on the card we include.
- To improve the shop and fix issues.
We do not use your details for anything you didn't order, and we don't send marketing messages unless you've asked us to.
Who we share it with
Only the partners needed to fulfil your order:
- Courier / delivery partners — your name, address, and phone, so they can deliver.
- Our payment partner — to confirm your UPI payment.
- Our hosting / tech providers (e.g. Amazon Web Services), who store order data securely on our behalf.
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.
Where it's stored
Order data is stored securely with our cloud provider. Pending-payment orders auto-delete after a short window if they're never paid. We keep completed-order records for as long as we reasonably need them for accounting, returns, and legal requirements.
Your choices
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, you can ask us to:
- See what personal information we hold about you,
- Correct anything that's wrong, or
- Delete your information (where we're not required to keep it for legal/accounting reasons).

Cookies & analytics
The shop keeps your cart in your own browser's local storage so it isn't lost between pages. We also use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site — which pages and products are popular, where visitors come from, and where we can improve. This is aggregate, behaviour-level data; we don't use it to identify you personally, and we don't run advertising trackers or sell this data. If you'd rather not be measured, you can use your browser's privacy settings or an analytics blocker, and the shop will work exactly the same.
Children
Our store isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
